Human Rights: May 12-June 30 Arts and Theatre: July 1-August 20
Trip Highlights:
1) Explore the intricacies of the conflict while living in Jerusalem, one of the holiest cities in the world.
2) Work with Rabbis for Human Rights, an organization that fights injustice on both sides of the green line.
3) Sleep under the stars in the Negev desert and jump through silky, soft sand dunes in the morning!
4) Snorkel in the Red Sea, where you can see fish and coral reef in all directions
Trip Highlights:
1) Walk along both sides of the disputed ‘separation barrier’ and take in the rich graffiti that lines the wall.
2) Take a tour of Hebron with ‘Breaking the Silence’ – a group of ex-Israeli soldiers speaking out against the occupation through personal anecdotes.
3) Work with Project Hope, a Canadian non-profit working in Nablus that provides Palestinian children and youth with educational programs important for growth and development.
4) Float around in the Dead sea, jump in the sea of Galilee and walk along Tel Aviv’s beautiful beaches
